Milder treatments are often enough to prevent a severe course of disease, which enables me to treat E. coli mastitis cases immediately. Early detection of udder inflammation is especially important for my sensitive Jersey cows.”

Heat detection: 40% less hormone treatments

Heat detection has also become an indispensable asset for Alfons Pronk-Poppe. This has not only significantly improved his reproduction figures, but also the profitability of his farm: “Thanks to the highly reliable oestrus notifications, I need to inject my animals less frequently, leading to a 40% reduction. This, of course, also results in financial savings.“ Another major success for the farmer are the system’s calving notifications: “The calving notifications save me a lot of work and time because I know when something is going to happen. I can now plan and prepare much better around calving. Additionally, I have significantly fewer stillborn calves.“
